In short: Casino Chan is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. For that reason, this is correctly executed, without frills.

On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: the stake goes in through Bancontact, card or app, with a bank transfer as the only way out. The app once named Payconiq by Bancontact has carried the name Bancontact Pay since March 2026.
The Bancontact Pay ceilings are €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. Available directly, no waiting; between request and account sit usually one to three banking days, regardless of how fast the operator approves.
What is asked at registration
Opening an account follows a fixed pattern: your details and a verification that precedes the payout. Usually an ID together with a document showing your address is enough.
The desk answers in English, and no Belgian body arbitrates a dispute. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; in a conflict those are the only pieces of evidence with weight.

Limits, age and EPIS
The Belgian legislator approaches player protection considerably more strictly than a few years ago with concrete consequences for your account. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week. A lower limit takes effect directly, raising runs through a verification and then a waiting window.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. Registering costs nothing. For casino, gaming hall and betting the bar has been 21 since September 2024; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. Without valid ID you do not get through.
What players ask us
- Can I change my limit?
The statutory standard is €200 per week. Going down is always allowed, going up is not. It is on by default; you need do nothing. Raising it always takes time, even when the request goes through.
- What should I watch in the bonus?
A bonus is only worth something once you convert the wagering into euros. Declining a bonus is always allowed. Read the maximum cashout above all.
- From what age may I play?
The minimum age is 21; since 1 September 2024 it is 21 for casino, hall and betting. The rule applies online and on-site alike. Trial accounts fall under the same limit.
- Do I have to declare winnings?
No. In Belgium gambling winnings are untaxed for the player — the levy sits with the operator. This applies to every licensed operator. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ.
- Is Casino Chan legal in Belgium?
Not legal in the Belgian sense: Casino Chan operates without a Gaming Commission licence. The regulator keeps both lists current. Anyone wanting certainty looks the name up at the Gaming Commission.
